18 February, 2025
We can’t wait to welcome you to Wales this summer for our 2025 International Congress, taking place from 23 – 26 June.
As many of you have already secured your place, we thought this would be a good opportunity to share a guide to the accommodation and travel options available to you. Whether you are travelling from abroad or domestically, we have a number of options for you to explore.
Accommodation
There are a number of hotels available in the surrounding area and central Newport, with two options available on site.
In the map above you will see The Celtic Manor Resort and The Manor House. These two hotels are the ‘on site’ hotels. They are located within the same resort as the ICC Wales, although there is a short walk between them and the venue. Please also note that The Manor House doesn’t have a lift or step free access between the lobby and the rooms.
Coldra Court Hotel, Ty Newport, Premier Inn Newport and Holiday Inn Newport are all within walking distance. The Coldra Court, Ty Newport and Premier Inn are about a 15/20 minute walk and the Holiday Inn is a 9 minute walk. We will be running a shuttle bus service from Coldra Court and the Ty Newport up to the venue each morning and afternoon/evening.
As you can see there are a limited number of hotels in the immediate area so we would recommend booking early. We are pleased to provide you with a through Mice Concierge. No payment is required at the time of booking, although you will need to provide card details as a guarantee. We have secured rates and availability with the local hotels, which are available through this link only. If you book on alternative sites the fees may be higher.
Alongside these hotels there are also a number of options available in central Newport. As with the local hotels, we will be running a shuttle bus service from Newport Train Station each morning and afternoon/evening. The buses will be running every 15 minutes in the morning and every 20 minutes in the afternoon. Pease note that it is about a 15 minute drive from the station to the ICC Wales, so bear this in mind when planning your journey.
There are also numerous accommodation options even further afield in both Bristol and Cardiff. Cardiff is just a 12 minute journey by train and Bristol just 18 minutes. You would then be able to utilise the coach service from Newport Train Station to the ICC Wales.
