Faculty of Eating Disorders Spring Conference 2025 | A Psychosomatic Perspective on Eating Disorders

Event Information

The Faculty of Eating Disorders invites you to our exciting online spring conference on 13 May 2025.

This event will present expert opinion and research findings from our panel of international and national level experts from the USA, Australia, Canada and the UK on very clinically relevant themes of complexity in presentation of Anorexia Nervosa, physical and mental health management.

The conference plenaries will highlight and debate ethical and clinical challenges in tube feeding and management in eating disorders and disordered eating.

Our experts and speakers will be exploring the complexity around morbidity and mortality in Anorexia Nervosa and the concept (and moral dilemma) of terminal anorexia.

This virtual and interactive meeting will also cover Binge Eating Disorder and childhood maltreatment as well as the link to obesity and assessment and management of ARFID.

There will be some exciting and clinically relevant presentations from our experts about physical health management of children and young people with eating disorders and about changes in GI tract and relation to eating disorders.

Eating disorders experts, psychiatrists, clinicians from every area of mental health (including nurses, psychologists, dieticians, therapists, paediatricians, and GP’s), carers, and people with lived experience are all welcome to join us. Secure your place today!
