This RCPsych conference will be a chance to learn about new opportunities open to all SAS psychiatrists both locally and nationally.

It is a celebration of the career development of SAS psychiatrists in Wales. There will also be the launch of the RCPsych Wales SAS network, a network to help connect SAS psychiatrists throughout Wales whilst giving them a voice.

SAS Psychiatry Network aims to help you remain resilient in the face of constant change and increasing clinical demand.

We all aspire to thrive within both our personal and professional lives. The RCPsych SAS network has been created to provide a new way of supporting SAS psychiatrists in Wales and to cultivate personal development and career sustainability.

The conference will draw largely from the experience of seasoned SAS psychiatrists who have successfully navigated the transition from trainee to SAS doctor and have achieved sustainability in their careers. This will be for all SAS doctors, regardless of the career path that they have chosen. This is whether the grade is temporary or permanent.

Please come along (tell your fellow SAS colleagues working in psychiatry) and connect with other SAS psychiatrists in Wales. Learn more about new opportunities open through the Royal College in order to develop your careers and source support.
